On the flying carpet ride to Fremantle last weekend we got to see more of the Rich(mond)Tapestry of Life. Flagsman Courtney Lai got trampled and stretchered off at Subiaco a couple of weeks ago. He'd be dead if he'd been over the line like Flagsman X was at Subi on Friday night.

Instead he kept his correct distance and escaped with an excruciating posterior cruciate lig. Flagsman X will no doubt privately have his posterior excruciated with a size 11 and a half boot, but what p'rhaps should happen is he becomes Ex Flagsman X. Very out of fashion to blame the officials I know, but that was bloody ridiculous says this two eyed Tiger (if just a little side on!).
Meanwhile the Bearded Cueball is going to hand it to Richmond on a plate on Saturday. Blue and white ball, back pocket. Slam! Geelong can't win without Chapman, and should he play with a niggle his confidence will be his undoing as he spoils to prove he's still young and unstoppable.
